That smell, don’t you smell that smell?

Surfacing from novel writing and child-rearing long enough to ask one question: when did it become okay for people to take their shoes off in public? I’m writing from a coffee house, and the guy next to me is bare foot. This is how bed bugs spread, people! Don’t let the hippies fool you: there really is such a thing as too comfortable.

    That is too much. I love that you thought about bed bugs…I would have thought an unknown foot fungus plague. BTW reading Audreys Door and loving it. I read your other books and enjoyed them. You are master of words…some images are still stuck in my head from The Keeper.
    I also just recently saw The Burrowers. I was surprised to see Jocelin Donahue in such a bit part. I loved her in the House of The Devil.
